A Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in London, Mr Pramod Groweris presently Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also the Founding and Life member of the Institute of Certified Public > Accountants of Kenya. Mr. Pramod Grower has served in Richardson Hindustan Ltd, Bombay. He was Financial Controller of Africa Synthetic Fibres Ltd and Sunflag Textiles in Nairobi. He was the Representative and local Director of Scandinavian Engineering Corporation in Delhi for over 10 years. He is non-executive partner and Advisor to Grant Thornton India, a member firm of Grant Thornton International. He has authored a novel called “The Wedding Gift” published in 2002.

Senior IAS officer Ms. Vrinda Sarup on 29 December 2014 was appointed as Secretary to the Department of School Education and Literacy under Union Ministry of Human Resource Development. Her appointment was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.

Ms. Vrinda Sarup is a 1981 batch IAS Officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. She is presently working as Special Secretary to the Department of School Education and Literacy under the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development.





Dr. Manjula Pooja Shroff serves as a Managing Director of Altus Learning Private Limited and Calorx Education Company Pvt. Ltd. Mrs. Shroff is a Social Entrepreneur and Founder of the Delhi Public School (Ahmadabad), Prerna, Visamo Kids and The Calorx School. She also successfully runs a business of hospitality & corporate services – Calorx India Ltd., New Delhi. As Chief Executive Officer of Calorx, she is instrumental in founding and managing several premier schools. She has been an Independent Women Director at Gujarat Gas Limited since April 21, 2015. She serves as a Director of eInfochips Limited, Calorx Education Company Pvt. Ltd. and E-Infochips Bangalore Limited. She serves as an Independent Woman Director at Sabarmati Gas Limited. She served as an Independent Women Director at Gujarat Gas Company Limited since October 8, 2014. She served as a Non Executive Director of Ortel Communications, Ltd. from January 12, 1998 to July 30, 2013. She is a recipient of several awards including the prestigious Secular India Award from the President of India and the Woman of the Year award by the American Bibliography Society, North Carolina. An Edupreneur, she is regarded by many as the change agent for schooling in the state of Gujarat. She is known as a Visionary and an Educationist in Gujarat. She is a Postgraduate from York University and Executive alumni from London School of Economics. She has a Post-Graduate Degree in Political Science from Utkal University and is a Graduate of Management Education Programme of IIM, Ahmadabad.

Mahesh Chandra Pant, the Former Chairman, National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) (May, 2004 to April 2009) and Former Director of Education, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal (December 1998 to May 2004), acquired rich experience in teaching, school administration, preparation of institutional plans, development of curriculum and instructional materials, and monitoring and supervision of educational programmes. As Chairman NIOS, he took significant steps to put the open schooling system in India on a sound pedestal. Realizing that the open schooling programme with inherent flexibilities has potential to meet substantially the challenge of universalisation of school education, a comprehensive re-engineering of the process as an integral part of the strategic approach for promotion of open schooling was initiated to develop and implement the Vision 2020 for NIOS.

He was instrumental in promotion of Open Schooling in developing countries, particularly in Asia and Africa, through advocacy, consultancy and capacity building programmes under the Open Schooling Association of Commonwealth (OSAC) and the International Centre for Training in Open Schooling (ICTOS) in collaboration with international organizations like Commonwealth of Learning (COL), UNESCO, and UNFPA. He also spearheaded expansion of Open Vocational Education Programme on the Demand Examination System and E-Governance.





Prof. Vibha Chaturvedi was a Professor of Philosophy at University of Delhi. She retired from that position in 2013. Apart from teaching and research she held several administrative responsibilities at University of Delhi. Prof. Vibha Chaturvedi is interested in a wide range of philosophical issues. Her areas of special interest include Modern Western Philosophy, Analytical Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, Philosophy of Mind, Ethics and Gender Studies.
